Amazon Kindle Update 2.5 Now Ready for Download

Amazon has launched new firmware for the Amazon Kindle. The new version is 2.5 and brings a few new features to the eBook reader. The update has passed through the final stages of testing and is now being pushed out to Kindle owners over the next few weeks. Amazon suggest you just keep your wireless connection switched on to automatically receive it.

– Password Protection: Password protect your Kindle when you’re not using it
– More font sizes & Improved Clarity: Enjoy two new larger font sizes and sharper fonts for an even more comfortable reading experience
