Amazon has announced that it will be selling the previous-gen Amazon Kindle for $89 starting at 9am PST. The deal looks like it will run until all of the older stock is depleted. The exact amount of units available is unknown at the moment.
To make sure you get hold of one, check out Amazon on Friday 26th at 9am PST. If stock is like other lightening deals then you’ll need to be quick as we’ve seen other offers sell out within minutes, sometimes within seconds.
Amazon has pointed out in its tweet about the deal that the second gen Kindle uses the same screen tech as the current generation Nook (perhaps a little dig there).
