Acer have revealed their new Acer Aspire One netbook which has an 11.6 inch screen. The Aspire One 11.6 comes with an Intel Atom processor and uses the Mobile Intel US15W Express Chipset. Acer opted for a HD in this netbook which has a capacity of 160GB. Wi-fi at b/g speeds is included along with Bluetooth. The nice part here is that the netbook is also 3G capable allowing you to access the internet wherever you have a mobile phone signal.
Looks wise it looks quite sleek. It measures just 2.5cm in thickness, comes with a soft-touch keyboard and has Dolby Pro Logic sound in there too. The 11.6 inch display is LED backlit and the netbook runs for an impressive 8 hours on the 5200mAh battery.
Overall an impressive looking netbook which has a slightly larger screen then most competitors. No details on release dates just yet although it should be fairly soon.

8 hours…now that’s a useful notebook. My laptop averages about 1 1/2-2 hours, and that’s on power saver. And I only bought it a year ago. Not quite as useful.

I have an Acer Aspire 5315 ; Microsoft Home Premium Hard Drive Toshiba MK 1246GSX ATA Device, 111.79 GB and on and on, Point being, when I am away from the computer the evil sounds of advertising THE DOLBY SOUND FOR ACER ASPIRE; COMES ON, DISTURBING MYSELF AND MY FAMILY, I WANT IT SHUT OFF, OR DOWN, HOW DO I GET RID OF THIS AWFUL ADVERTISING. I try to catch it and click on it, but, it shuts off immediately, and then again comes on when the computer is unattended for a short period of time. PLEASE HELP ME TO GET RID OF THIS AWFUL SOUND, IT IS DISRUPTING TO THE ENTIRE FAMILY, AND VERY RUDE, WHEN WE ARE TALKING TO SOMEONE OR ON THE PHONE. I’m extremely glad you posted this. As I am an expert in SOUNDS and TECHNOLOGY. Quickly follow the directions. There is no time to lose. Please be careful when adjusting RUDE SOUNDS so that the spear pumps do not become disavowed. Before you DRAIN THE LOTUS FLANGE from its capacitator on the inside, be sure your MK 1246GSX ATA Device is at three-quarters capacity, or you will EVAPORATE the fluid. Use a sterilized tweezing apparatus to stencil the moto crank.
That’s it. You should be all set after that. If this doesn’t work-
*have it blessed by a priest
*ask your grandson or neighbor to take time out of his schedule to do it, and seven other things at your house
*ask the guy in the cubicle on either side of you, he’s got nothing better to do either (be sure to tell him how much you hate computers while he’s fixing it for you)
*call the guy you bought it from on craig’s list- he’d love to help you
*pick up a book
Do not attempt to turn down the volume on the exterior or from the controls on your machine. It is too confusing.
