Viewsonic are launching an updated version of it’s nettop PC. The new version is a step up from their older version, named the VOT131. The new VOT132 will feature a dual core Intel Atom processor and rather than running Windows XP Home, this version will run Windows 7 Home Premium.
As can be expected with all announcements of Windows 7 computers and netbooks, the VOT132 will also launch this week on the 22nd October.
The Viewsonic nettop will be priced at $499 when launched and if you add another $99 to that price you can purchase the Super Multi DVD burner that attaches through a modular system.
Other features of the ION-Based nettop include wireless 802.11b/g/n along with 6 USB ports, DVI and HDMI outputs. An NVIDIA GeForce 9400 graphics card can also be found in there making it a very compact and quite powerful system.
