Siafu PC Helps the Visually Impaired

by Matthew on March 14, 2008

Siafu_PCThe Siafu PC is currently being designed and is different to any other PC you will have seen. It is designed by Jonathan Lucas and features a Braille surface which is used to render 3D images.

The Siafu works by using magneclay which is a concept material that is magnetized liquid. When used right, the liquid allows 3D images to be formed on the surface which also allows for Braille dots to appear too.

With this idea just being concept at the moment, there are no release details. I do hope that this makes it out of concept as it will allow for great interaction for those with visual impairments.
