Photofast, a memory maker from Japan, are releasing 3 new PCI based solid state drives (SSD’s) named the G-Monster series.
3 capacities are available for the new G-Monster series which are 256GB, 512GB and 1TB in size. Each unit has a built in RAID controller that increased read and write speeds to 750MBps and 700MBps respectively.
The devices have an impressive lifespan too which is calculated to about 1.5 million hours, or 171 years of usage which is way more then enough considering drives are progressing at a fast rate and probably will be replaced with larger capacities with in 3 – 5 years.
The G-Monster series from Photofast will become available sometime in June although there are no prices available just yet.
