Motorola Droid Product Pages Leaked

verizon_motorola_droid_spec_sheet_1Motorola have published the product pages for the new Motorola Droid phone due out soon. However, the page was only online for a brief amount of time. We won’t go in to why we think it was pulled so quick, but what it did reveal is the official specs for the phone.

The phone will have a 3.7 inch screen at a 16:9 aspect ratio that will display 480 x 854 pixels. Of course, it will also be touchscreen and we assume capacitive. A 5 megapixel autofocus camera will be found ont he back that will be capable of 4x digital zoom. The camera will also have a dual LED flash. Battery life see’s the Droid powered for 385 minutes of talk time along with 270 hours of standby and has a capacity of 1400mAh.

The processor running the Droid is clocked at 550MHz and connectivity is as can be expected with Wireless b/g, Bluetooth and EVDO Rev.A.

Other features include GPS and for connectivity/charging a micro USB port can be found.

Storage capacity is healthy with a 16GB microSD card being made available as standard which is handy as the App store does tend to fill up storage quite quickly.

This is one phone I am looking forwards to seeing. We’ll post more details as we get them.

Very nice, but why only 550 Mhz? I expected a 1000 Mhz smartphone… . But maybe this is a good compromise to keep the battery level.
