Each Motherboard Christmas Tree is lit by 16 LED’s that blink making it a christmassy gadget for your desktop. The LED christmas tree sits on top of a 9v battery to help it stand firm. The tree is made from two interlocking PCB’s.
The alternative available from ThinkGeek is the Motherboard Menorah that works on a similar principle but has 9 LED’s instead which can be controlled by a DIP switch.
