Dave Peterson has created a great macro adapter for his Olympus FE-310 point and shoot digital camera. The results by using this lens look great and the best part is that you probably have a lot of the parts spare in your home.
The custom macro adapter uses the objective lens from some binoculars (model MultiTech Survivor DCF 8×22) as well as a 35mm Fujifilm canister lid. The lid had it’s centre cut out and the bottom of the canister also had it’s centre cut out. The lens attached in to 1 end while the other end of the canister fit snugly around the lens of the FE-310 Olympus camera. The results… A very close macro photo.
