I have seen a few rubber band guns before ranging from being made of wood to Lego. I have not seen one created in this much detail though. The latest is made of Metal and is designed and built by (what I believe) a Japanese PS3 Metal Gear Solid fan.
Twelve rubber bands can be put in side and launched at the pull of a trigger. To see the metal gun in action check out the video below. The gun has some sort of protecting device as well as an infrared and Laser? sight.
