New Sony Flexible OLED Screen Nouveau Sony écran OLED flexible

Sony have unveiled an OLED screen that is flexible. Sony a dévoilé un écran OLED qui est flexible. OLED displays tend to be made out of a sealed glass which protects the materials inside from getting moisture on them which can basically kill them. Écrans OLED ont tendance à être faite de verre scellé qui protège les matériaux de l'intérieur de l'humidité de se faire sur leur fond, qui peut les tuer. Sony managed to create the screen on to a plastic which allows it to be thinner, lighter and bendable as seen in the image above. Sony a réussi à créer l'écran, sur un plastique qui lui permet d'être plus minces, plus légers et Bendy comme on l'a vu dans l'image ci-dessus. The screen is a full colour display also. L'écran est un écran couleur également. The prototype is has a resolution of 120 x 169 with a .318 mm pixel pitch. Le prototype est a une résolution de 120 x 169 avec un ,318 mm pixel pitch. I do not have details on how quick the screen can update (refresh rate) but this is certainly interesting to see this kind of technology appearing. Je n'ai pas de détails sur la façon rapide de l'écran peut mettre à jour (taux de rafraîchissement), mais ce n'est certainement intéressant de voir ce type de technologie apparaissent.
I look forwards to seeing technology like this and will be watching out for more to come from Sony on the OLED screen front. Je suis en avant de voir la technologie comme celui-ci et sera à regarder de plus à venir de Sony sur l'écran OLED avant. Hopefully this will allow for even thinner screens that run a decent refresh rate and can be flexible (made smaller for traveling). Espérons que cela permettra d'écrans encore plus fins qui courent d'un taux de rafraîchissement décent et peut être flexible (les petits faites pour voyager).

Wow. That’s impressive. C'est impressionnant. I remember seeing something like this a few years ago in popular science or something. Je me souviens avoir vu quelque chose de ce genre il ya quelques années dans la vulgarisation scientifique ou de quelque chose. I thought for sure this technology would have already been on the market. Je pensais que pour assurer cette technologie aurait déjà été sur le marché.
There’s epaper which has been around for a while but still in early days. Il ya Epapier qui a été autour pendant un certain temps, mais encore aux premiers jours. I think it was LG who managed to make colour ePaper just recently. Je crois que c'est LG qui a réussi à faire de la couleur Epapier récemment.
