3D is becoming a big thing since a plethora of 3D screens and graphics cards were revealed over the last year. When ever people think of 3D they think of the red and blue cardboard specs that you had to wear when watching Jaws 3D back in the 80’s. These more modern days we now see rather cool looking dark glasses which are more acceptable but still a pain if you ask me. The Aqua Dance Game uses nano-technology to create hyper-beading water particles. What you do is fill up the tank with regular water, push a pump a few times to pressurise the water. You then turn a lever underneath that controls the size and speed of the water beads and then sit back and watch the crazy water bounce off the nano-tech surface which causes the hyper-bead to happen.
With the reduced friction the natural surface tension of the water takes over to create some unusual liquid dynamics. You’ll find beautiful patterns in the water that are different each time. The ridges and funnels on the surface scatter the water in unpredictable ways as it zooms like quicksilver to the bottom.

The DigiLife DDV-JF1 is a pocket HD camcorder that is unique in that it has a small LED pico sized projector built in to it. The camera can capture 720p HD at 30 frames per second. Lower resolutions can also be set such as 848 x 480 which allows you to bump up the FPS to 60. The DigiLife has a built in 2.5 inch LCD screen for viewing the images or you can opt for the projector which has a 640 x 260 pixel resolution to watch a larger picture on the wall. [Read more…]

Verizon have announced that they have launched the Samsung Alias 2. The Alias 2 is a dual hinged clamshell phone which has a unique keyboard that is actually E-Ink. The keyboard is QWERTY and with each key using E-Ink it can quickly transform in to a different layout. The overall effect is actually quite good and because e-ink doesn’t require much power to work (ie, only when changing the state) it doesn’t provide any major impact to the phones battery life.
