Some technical specs of a new camera from Nikon have surfaced. The new DSLR camera is expected to be the Nikon D800 and when it launches, it will have a 36 megapixel sensor. The Nikonrumors site puts a 99% probability on this bit of information.

Take a Look Inside the Apple Thunderbolt Display

iFixit has taken apart one of the new Apple Thunderbolt displays. This particular model is the 27 inch, 2560 x 1440 screen. The screen was relatively easy to open and once inside, it contained a surprise amount of chips allowing to speedily connect up via the Thunderbolt Port.

3M MP180 Pocket Projector Review

This week we are taking a look at a pico projector from 3M, the MP180 model to be exact. The pocket sized projector isn’t the smallest we’ve seen, but does measure in at 65x33x150mm making it easy enough to fit in a pocket. It weighs 338 grams which also isn’t the lightest, but comfortable enough to carry around.

Other specs show that it uses DLP projection technology and has a native resolution of 800 x 600 pixels. The lamp life is rated at 20,000 hours and the brightness is rated at 30 ANSI Lumens. It also has 4GB of memory built in, a 2 hour battery and a microSD card slot. Lets take a look and see if it’s any good.

7 Inch Motorola Tablet Spotted

The tablet pictured below is believed to be the next generation Motorola Android Tablet. The screen size hasn’t been confirmed although estimates hint at it being 7 inches. What makes this image quite interesting is that the tablet is also quite slim.

Seagate has announced a new 4TB hard drive. This particular drive stores up to 4TB of data on a single physical disk which makes it the only drive of this capacity available at the moment.

LG PenTouch Touch Screen Plasma Announced

LG has announced a new range of TVs called the LG PenTouch. This new range of Plasma screens lets users interact with it by using a special stylus. The idea behind it is that users can browse the internet or draw right on the screen if needed. As well as browsing the web, it also gives the ability to interact with what is on the screen.

Wacom Inkling Announced

Wacom has announced Inkling. The device allows you to draw with a pen and when done you can transfer the drawing to a computer to edit the image. There are several things that make this device stand out. Lets start with the pen. The pen has a ball point tip that you can draw on any type of paper with. The digital pen also can sense 1024 levels of pressure which makes the captured drawing even more realistic. Each pressure is calculated when transferred to give the drawing the correct line weights. When you have finished drawing, the data is sent to a PC or Mac in Vector format which means you can then easily edit each line on the page as much as you like.

Samsung Galaxy R Android Smartphone Confirmed

As well as confirming the white Galaxy S II today, Samsung has also confirmed the Samsung Galaxy R. The new smartphone is runs the Android 2.3 gingerbread operating system and has a 4.19 inch Super Clear LCD display. The resolution of the screen is 800 x 480 pixels.

Dell UltraSharp U2412M with IPS Technology Launches

Dell has launched a new 24 inch widescreen monitor that uses IPS technology and has a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. The screen is the UltraSharp U2412M and retails for a surprisingly low $399. The widescreen format is in a 16:10 ratio. The screen is backlit by LED and with it being IPS it also has a wide viewing angle.

Dell also tout the monitor to be flexible in that it can tilt, swivel and pivot in a number of angles.

Samsung Galaxy S2 Review

Samsung saw great success with the original Samsung Galaxy S smartphone. With that success, they went on to build a tablet or 2. Now, we have the Samsung Galaxy S2 which is a new and updated version of the original Galaxy S.

When taking the Galaxy S2 out of the box you immediately notice you are looking at a very nice smartphone. The device is sleek. It’s slim and not heavy at all. Most of the front is taken up with the large 4.3 inch screen. Other than that, there’s a small speaker, camera and a couple of sensors. Below the screen a button can be found which has a touch sensitive button on either side of it.

Samsung Galaxy Pro Review

Over the past few weeks I’ve been testing a Samsung Galaxy Pro smartphone. The phone runs the Android 2.2 operating system and departs from the usual large screen devices in that it has a QWERTY keypad below the screen. The phone uses the similar layout to a Blackberry or Nokia E series device. The QWERTY keyboard has 4 rows of keys. The screen is 2.8 inches and has a QVGA resolution of 320×240 pixels and is a capacitive touchscreen.
