As of December this year, those of you in Japan will be able to pick up a Sony Reader device. Sony stopped selling the Sony eReader in Japan back in 2007, but is now returning to that area to start up sales again.

Sony has announced that it will be launching a couple of new reader apps. One is being built for Android OS based smartphones and the other is being built for iOS based devices. Each version of the app will be launching next month in time for Christmas.
More details of the Sony Ericsson X12 Anzu have been revealed. The new device is expected to launch early next year installed with the Android 2.2 operating system. The Android 2.2 install will then be followed with Android 2.3 after launch (update rumoured for Summer 2011).
The XperiaX10 website has received an anonymous tip along with a picture that claims to show the next generation smartphone from Sony Ericsson called the ANZU. The ANZU is believed to be the successor of the Xperia X10 range of smartphones.
The Sony Ericsson LiveView has found a release date in the UK of November 19. The LiveView is a device with a 1.3 inch screen that connects over Bluetooth to your Android based smartphone. The small device shows you information such as previews of SMS, MMS, email, call and other information.
Apple [AAPL] seems to have sent out a letter to music labels informing them music clips in iTunes will now jump from 30 seconds to 90 seconds in length. This policy applies to those songs that are over 2 minutes 30 seconds in length. Any tune shorter than that will continue to have a 30 second sample available.
Sony Ericsson is beginning to roll out the Android 2.1 update for various Xperia smartphones. The list includes the Xperia X10, X10 Mini and X10 Mini Pro lineup.

Sony could be getting a new camera ready for launch mid-2011. The new camera is rumoured to be the Sony Alpha A77 and new features would include a translucent mirror configuration.
