Nike has announced the Nike+ FuelBand. The bracelet is similar to others you may have seen before which includes the Jawbone UP. Nike has a slightly different approach with this device and uses a calorie counter on a display. The device connects via Bluetooth to an iPhone or can be synced by USB and can be monitored online so that you can set goals and track if you are reaching those goals.

Tablet Web Traffic Comparison Shows iPad Still in the Lead
The advertising network Chitika has compiled some results in to a graph. The graph gives a comparison on how the competition is doing when compared to the Apple iPad.
The data was collected from US and Canadian users of tablets and is based on hundreds of millions of display ads seen on each of those devices. Due to the market share of the iPad the competition looked quite flat. To help visualise the data more easily, Chitika set the bar at 100 iPad impressions and then plotted what the competition was seeing.
LoveFilm Streaming Added to LG Smart TVs
LoveFilm has announced that the the new range of LG Smart TVs will be able to stream LoveFilm content to viewers. The streaming won’t include pay-per-view but will include 5,000 or more films from the library.
iOS 5.1 Beta 3 Now Available
Apple has released a new beta version of iOS 5.1. This time it’s Beta 3 which brings us another step closer to a final release.
Not many changes are found within beta 3 other than the usual list of bug fixes which iron out problems before the final launch. What has changed in this version is the Enable 3G toggle which was removed on the iPhone 4S.

Starting Monday January 16 2012, Chile requires that all phones sold must be sold unlocked. This applies to every cellphone. This requirement will mean that any cellphone will work on any compatible network in the country.

Samsung has made the Series 5 Ultrabook available for pre-order in the US. The new ultrabooks have price tags of $899.99 and $949.99.
Two models are available for pre-order with one having a 13 inch screen and the other with a 13.3 inch screen.

Internet Explorer 6 usage in the US has finally dropped below 1 percent. Last year the company set up a website called ie6countdown that aimed to kill off the 10+ year old browser. Reasons for pushing users away from that browser is that its extremely old now and has a number of security issues as well as outdated code running it. By dropping usage to below 1 percent it allows developers to focus on current browsers when designing websites.
More Details Revealed about Nokia Lumia 900 Ace
The mockup image below shows what the Nokia Lumia 900 could look like. The device is expected to launch soon and be a follow on from the Nokia Lumia 800 Windows Phone. The new details reveal that it will likely run the Windows Phone Mango operating system rather than Tango which was previously mentioned.
