Barnes & Noble has released the 1.5 update for the Nook eBook reader. The new firmware update brings a number of new features to the device which includes a 50% increase on page refresh rates, syncing across Nook apps, customisable folders, password protection and improved search functions.
Today saw the launch of iOS 4.2 for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. With this launch the MobileMe Find My iPhone app became available for free as a service for iPad, iPhone 4 and the latest generation iPod touch users. Although that’s all well and good, it does leave out older generation devices from using the free service.

AppleInsider has reported that AirPrint in iOS 4.2 could be delayed indefinitely for those who would connect up to a printer on a Windows or Mac based device. Rather than being able to print to a shared printer as originally planned, it seems that this feature might be pulled out of iOS 4.2 and instead of using shared printers, the system might only work with wireless printers in the HP range.
