Leaked information has revealed the Apple dead pixel policy for those with any Apple device with a screen.
Items covered in the dead pixel policy are classified by screen size with 1 to 3.5 inches being the lower size all the way up to 30 inch screens.
Some interesting things to point out from the leaked dead pixel policy is that the iPhone, iPod touch and any other device with a 1 to 3.5 inch screen has a zero tolerance policy meaning that 1 dead pixel (bright or dark) is enough to have a repair or replacement done. [Read more…]

For those who are interested, Apple [AAPL] has launched a new commercial called ‘iPad is Electric’. It goes through the usual demonstration of apps and lets you know all the things it can do. Although not exciting news, we thought we’d post anyway for those who care.

Verizon [VZ] today has started selling the iPad. The company is selling the wireless versions of the iPad in the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities and is also selling a MiFi mobile hotspot along with it to allow you to access the internet whilst on the move.
Apple [AAPL] looks set to be changing one of the functions of the iPad in the next iOS update. When iOS 4.2 is released, the current orientation lock switch found on the top right of the device will suddenly be changed to a mute switch for switching sound off.

One is on the landscape side and the other in the usual portrait side. This isn’t the first time we have heard of an iPad with two dock connectors.
