Apple [AAPL] looks to be currently testing iOS 4.1 on a number of devices which includes the unannounced iPod touch 4, iPad and an unknown product (perhaps iTV).
The latest Beta of iOS 4.1 has a few indications that Apple is testing these devices. It is expected that the iOS 4.1 release date is sometime within the next month.

Apple [AAPL] has agreed to replace iPod nano’s sold in Japan that have a problem with overheating. The decision comes after a couple of years of debating with the Japanese government.
The Apple Peel 520 case is designed for the iPod touch and has been designed to turn the iPod touch in to an iPhone. When Apple [AAPL] announced iOS 4 they said a large number of enhancements had been included. These of course include multitasking as well as many other popular features that have been publicly known. Another one of the new features is called iPod Out which appears to have been overlooked somewhat. Thankfully, BMW has an all seeing eye and spotted the new feature allowing them to create quite a decent interface for their cars.
When Apple [AAPL] launch the next-gen iPod touch, it is likely to follow the same design as the iPhone 4. We also expect that features from the iPhone 4 will also be added to the new touch such as a front facing camera, perhaps a retina display and a faster CPU.
