The TomTom iPhone application should be getting updated soon, assuming Apple [AAPL] approve it. Included in the update are a number of features which should have been included at launch such as advanced lane guidance and text to speech.

Orange have launched a new iPhone app for Orange Wednesdays in the UK. Orange Wednesdays have been running since 2003 and allow those on the Orange network to text a number and get a free 2 for 1 voucher for use in cinemas across the UK every Wednesday of the year.
Toyota have released a new iPhone app that attempts to educate as well as advertise the features of the Prius car… in particular it’s Draw feature is the funkiest as it allows you and your iPhone to interact with a large screen over in Times Square New York. When you have downloaded the application you load it up and draw on the screen. Your drawings are then thrown up on to the huge screen and mixed with the Prius. Although I say it’s the funkiest part of the app, admittedly it’s not that amazing, but still kind of cool in a weird way.
Along with a big update to a number of Apple products yesterday, Apple [AAPL] have also launched the new Magic Mouse. The mouse is the worlds first multi touch mouse allowing you to use anywhere on it’s surface to click on.
FPS have launched a new Pico Projector called the FPS Pearl M3. The pico projector is a small unit that has VGA image quality that is capable of projecting a 16:9 wide screen. The lamp has a 30,000 life expectancy and the projector can play back a number of common formats including AVI, various MPEG’s, WMV etc…
In the last few days we have seen a number of places mention that Apple have shipped a new iPhone 3G S that has the boot ROM finally fixed to block the 24kpwn exploit. Many people knew it wouldn’t be long before this was also hacked, and funnily enough, it has.


Samsung have announced that they are launching the WB5000 compact digital camera. It has a 12.5 megapixel sensor along with 24x optical zoom and a 26mm wide angle focal length. By having a 24x optical zoom it is capable of a focal range of 624mm.
If you prefer more than listening to just song from iTunes on your iPhone then this device could work for you. It is called the XM SkyDock and what this gadget does is allow you to receive satellite radio by converting your phone in to a Sirius XM radio tuner.
