The Apple TV runs iOS 4.1, and because of that it means it can be jailbroke although official tests haven’t been performed yet.
The developer of the SHatter exploit, @pod2g, managed to use the SHatter code to decrypt the keys.
It’s looking like SHAtter is going to be the gift that keeps on giving. Even though the new AppleTV isn’t yet in people’s homes, the firmware is available on Apple’s normal public distribution servers and SHAtter has been used to decrypt its keys! The SHatter iOS 4.1 jailbreak looks to be moving along nicely looking at information provided by the iPhone Dev Team.
Game Center is part of the iOS 4.1 update that landed a few weeks back. However, it only works on the newer models of iPhone and iPod touch and leaves out the iPhone 3G from that compatibility list.
Joby has announced the Gorillapod Video. This particular model is designed for small and light video cameras and cameras such as the Flip HD. The tripod works just like other Gorillapods in that it has the bendy/flexible legs. On top is the connection that allows for 360 degree smooth pan and a 135 degree tilt.
Another jailbreak has been released for iOS 4.1. This time it’s the iPhone 3G and second generation iPod touch that can be jailbroke.
When using earphones, it can be particularly dangerous when outside noise is blocked out. This is even more the case when using earphones that isolate noise.
On September 23, a new iOS 4.1 jailbreak will be released for the iPhone 3GS and lower devices. This means that for iPhone 4, iPad and iPod touch 4th gen users, you will still have to wait around for another option.

Apple [AAPL] has updated the Apple Store app in the app store. The latest update brings it more in line with the iPhone 4 and iPod touch in that it supports the Retina Display now.
