This computer, named Go Computer, is aimed at the older generation. It achieves the target by having a larger typeface keyboard then normal that also includes color coded keys as well as a trackball.

AT&T are now selling the Nokia E71x as mentioned back in March. The phone will go on sale today and cost $99.99 (after a rebate and with a 24 month contract).
The E71x is the thinnest smartphone available and has a built in QWERTY keyboard. It is aimed at those who enjoy messaging, web browsing and social networking while on the move.

Since the launch of the Eee PC I have always wanted a small laptop with a screen measuring less then 10″. Move closer to now and we now see a bunch of manufacturers creating these tiny PC’s. The next one I am looking at is the Acer Aspire One (A150 Model). [Read more…]

A nice range of ultra portable laptops have been showing up around places recently. The Asus EEE PC was one which took the world by storm with it’s low price tag. The next in line is the HP Mini Note which has a high res 1280 x 768 display that measures 8.9″. [Read more…]
HP are launching a seriously nice looking UMPC named the 2133. The screen is just 8.9 inches which is ample for a UMPC and it is scratch resistant. The resolution it runs at is 1366 x 766 (WXGA). An ExpressCard/54 slot can be found in there along with Wireless LAN, a QWERTY keyboard that is not much smaller then normal and a web cam can also be found integrated too.
Two operating systems will be available when it launches which gives you the choice between Vista or Linux. On the storage side, it appears that there will be an SSD option which will make the UMPC weigh in at 2.5 LBS. The case looks to also look nice too being anodized aluminium.
I wonder how this will do against the MacBook Air and EeePC. Looking at rumours of prices, it looks like it could sell for less then $700. If that’s the case this will be on my wanted list.
