The Ciphone C9 is a clone of an Apple iPhone. The C9 can dual boot in to OS or Windows Mobile 6.5 and comes with quite a few decent features such as a GPS unit, 2 Megapixel camera, a choice of 4GB or 8GB of storage, GPS, G-Sensor, dual compass, WiFi and EDGE as well as a 3.5 inch touchscreen.
A full run down of the specifications can be found below which show that it’s actually a decent and capable phone. However, we are unsure of the build quality and if it meets that of the iPhone. Also with it running OS or WM6.5, we are not sure how good they are on the device and if it runs quick enough to make the user experience good enough. Lenovo have announced the Lenovo C200 all-in-one computer today. The C200 has an 18.5 inch HD display in a 16:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by an NVIDIA ION graphics processor with up to 256MB of RAM.
A new patent was published yesterday morning that shows an insight what Apple could be coming up with for the next few months. The title of the image above indicates that the next gen iPhone could have an advanced touchscreen. Also the patent indicates that iPod Touch and MacBooks as well as a MacBook tablet device are also to be included in this.
A leak shows that Sony are to launch a new range of TV’s that will probably go on display at CES in 2010 in just a few weeks time. Amongst the new TV’s is a new OLED screen that is a new model from the XEL-1 that was a 3mm thick, 11 inch OLED screen launched last year. As of now it is unknown what size of screen the new OLED TV will be. I’d expect it to be a larger screen to perhaps compete with the new 15 inch
Fujitsu have revealed a new phone called the Fujistu F-04B that has a dual keyboard setup, projector and a 3.4″ screen that separates from the keyboards.

Samsung are getting ready to launch a couple of new cameras named the Samsung ST500 and the Samsung ST550. Each camera is unique from usual cameras in that they both have dual LCD screens. As most cameras do, the Samsung cameras have an LCD screen on the back to help you compose a shot, but the ST500 and ST550 also have a screen on the front that allows you to more easily take self portrait shots.
Recently at a show in Tokyo a Philips were showing off some transparent OLED displays. The screens were capable of letting about 70% – 75% light through when switched off.
The DSTL1 is an Android based phone that can take 2 SIM cards allowing you to switch between networks without switching the phone off.
We have mentioned Asus a few times over the last month or so. The first mention was a 3.75G mobile broadband connection built in to their new range of laptops. The next was a hard drive upgrade. What we are looking at now is a touch screen version that is said to be coming out next year sometime.
A couple of weeks ago I attended the launch of three new LCD TV’s which LG were bringing to the market. Last week it was time for some Plasma screens to be launched. Although we didn’t make it to London to attend the meetup we still have the details to share with you.
