Real Racing 2 for iPhone 4S To Get Party Play Mode

Firemint has announced that an update for Real Racing 2 on both the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 is due. The new version will allow for AirPlay support on both of these devices and also allows them to connect up to Party Play which allows users to wirelessly connect to a TV and play against other opponents.

Google Nexus Prime Leaked and Delayed

The Google Nexus Prime was expected to be announced this coming week although it seems that it has already been delayed.

“Samsung and Google decide to postpone the new product announcement at CTIA Fall. We agree that it is just not the right time to announce a new product. New date and venue will be shortly announced.”

We don’t know how big the delay is, but suspect it will likely launch before Christmas still, perhaps late November now. The image below was leaked earlier today showing what is believed to be the Nexus Prime.

HTC Sensation XL Announced

HTC has announced the Sensation XL smartphone. This particular model comes at the same time as another device also announced by HTC. The HTC Sensation XL is launching tomorrow and has a 4.7 inch screen that is Super LCD and has a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. LG Optimus LTE Now Official

A new smartphone has been announced by LG. The LG Optimus LTE has a few new features which includes LTE connectivity to speed up downloads of data. As well as getting a connectivity boost, LG has also included a 4.5 inch IPS display which they call IPS True HD. The resolution of the screen is 1280 x 720 pixels and is claimed to be the first of its kind that will launch in South Korea.

iPhone 5 Assistant Feature Detailed

A few more details about the new iPhone 5 were posted today over at 9to5Mac. Amongst a new feature called Assistant, a few other features were mentioned such as it getting 1GB of RAM, a higher resolution 8 megapixel camera that has a back lit sensor to improve shots in low light conditions.

The device will use the Apple A5 processor (a dual-core chip) and mixed with the 1GB of RAM it will provide even more power than the iPad 2. The reason for the extra boost in performance is due to something called Assistant that is rumoured to be launching on the iPhone 5.

The hype machine is in full effect. For the past few months rumors have circulated that Amazon is readying its first foray into the tablet market. They’re no newbies to the world of portable electronics, of course; the Kindle is its best selling product ever, and it is perhaps the most popular e-reader on the market. But the leap from e-book reader to fully functional tablet is no small one. Amazon, for its part, is prepared. They’re going to release the Kindle tablet at a competitive price point: likely $250 or below, which will put it on a different competitive plane than other tablets. But that doesn’t necessarily mean it will stack up feature-wise.

Sony Tablet S Teardown
