For those who use an iPhone or Android smartphone, you can now access YouTube more easily through the mobile browser. Google [GOOG] has announced a new update to m.youtube.com that brings more features to the small screen.
New features include a faster browsing experience along with a new designed UI that has large and touch friendly elements making it more easy to control. Search query suggestions have been added along with the ability to create playlists, designate favourites as well as like and unlike options for videos.
Also the new m.youtube.com site also follows more closely with the desktop version. When changes happen to the large site they should shortly after be added to the mobile site making your mobile browsing experience match more closely with the desktop version. [Read more…]
ezGear is launching a new tablet computer called the SurfBoard. The SurfBoard 700 runs Google Android. It comes with a 7 inch screen as well as WiFi for connectivity.
The Huawei S7 is an Android based tablet that has a 7 inch screen and sits in-between the likes of the Apple iPad and the Dell Streak.

Google [GOOG] was asked recently if a Google Nexus Two Android device was going to launch. In short, the answer is no. The details came from an interview with Eric Schmidt where he was asked about the possibility of a Nexus Two smartphone branded by Google.

Apple [AAPL] has put out a formal letter regarding the signal problems on the iPhone 4 although it tackles the issue from a slightly different angle from what you might expect and Apple won’t actually fix anything with the signal other than how signal strength is reported.
Vodafone has added the Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro to it’s website. No release dates have been provided and it isn’t available to pre-order just yet. We suspect that it wont be too far away though now that the coming soon page is now active.
StatCounter has reported that Google [GOOG] Chrome now accounts for 8.97% of the US market share which just beats Safari at 8.88% putting Chrome at the number 3 spot for browser usage in the US.
