An event held recently by AMD was recently run where contestants tried to overclock their processors – to the extreme. A few months back those working on the overclocking projects were getting very close to 7GHz but never actually broke through that barrier. CrunchGear have now reported that the 7GHz barrier was smashed through by also setting a record on 3DMark. The AMD processor that was overclocked was a Phenom II.
The LG BL40 Chocolate mobile phone is unique due to it’s cinematic widescreen display that has an aspect ratio of 21:9 allowing it to play feature length movies with no borders top or bottom. With the BL40 having a large aspect ratio screen the phone is longer than your average mobile phone and though pictures seem to show the phone being a little over sized, when holding it you’ll find that it actually works very well and sits in your pocket very well.

Casio were showing off their latest point and shoot digital cameras at this years CES. The amazing thing about these new Casio Exilim cameras is that they can record video with a frame rate of at least 1000 fps… that’s just crazy and cool.
