Mini USB Digital Camera with no LCD

USB-Digital-Camera
This concept mini digital camera tries to take photography back a few years, but bring it to now at the same time. It is a small USB flash drive with a camera built in and it just has 1 button. There is no LCD on the back and there is no view finder. The whole purpose of the camera is to just have you point, shoot and then have to wait till you are back at your PC to see the results which is just like the waiting time to get pictures developed.

It’s not the best idea I have come across, but I can see it as doing quite well should it become available. If the cameras are cheap enough (< $10) then they would make ideal little cameras to take around while out and about so you can snap away, but not worry about it getting damaged. What is inside a Digital Camera?

crackingopendc
If you ever wondered what you would find in a digital camera but were too afraid that you were going to bust up your expensive one then cnet have done the hard work for you. They cracked open a fairly standard 3.3 mega pixel camera to see what was found inside. Once several screws were removed they pulled the case apart and found various bits and pieces which are covered over at CNET. Inside the camera you will find the flash and capacitor which is used to hold the charge that allows the flash to function. Also inside you will find a view finder, LCD screen, CCD, battery compartment and the circuit boards that make it all work.

Check out CNET for the full rundown of what you will find inside a digital camera.

Casio Blogging Camera

casio_exilim_ex_v8
Bloggers, or vloggers (video bloggers) now have a camera to choose from which has Youtube features built in. The Casio Exilim EX-V8 has a setting to optimise your videos for Youtube at just the right resolution. Uploading is simple with the YouTube up loader which you run and will automatically upload the videos you have made. It is a nice small addition to the excellent Exilim range of cameras and I am sure will be welcomed by those who utilise YouTube for their vlogging activities.

On the technical side, the V8 has a 7x optical zoom lens and the camera has some nice features such as anti shake and face detection technology. For those wanting a quick way of taking pictures with anti shake in youtube format then this is well worth checking out.
