LG KH1000

LG KH1000
The LG KH1000 is a new handset to hit the market. It is a HDSPA enabled slider phone which has a 2.2 inch widescree TFT screen. A built in 1.3 mega pixel camera. 2GB flash memory with 1GB SDRAM. Something that grabbed my attention is the video conferencing ability. It has a hefty price tag but seems like a powerful device with nice amounts of built in memory to justify that.

TORQ N100 GPS PDA Phone

SlashGear got their hands on the TORQ N100 GPS PDA phone and did the good old unboxing ceremony. Their verdict is that it’s a nice device with lots of good things crammed inside. Features such as GPS, a 1.3 Mega pixel camera and it runs Windows Mobile 5. With it having Windows Mobile 5.0 you get the usual standard stuff such as the web browser, Media player and other MSN type software. The N100 does not have EDGE support but can connect to the internet via GPRS. Battery life is something else which caught my eye. Running as a PDA you can get around 10 – 15 hours, running as a phone you get around 4 and GPS goes lower then that. Still very good and useful for the traveler.

Nokia N95 3D Graphics

The N95 is due out in the next couple of months and is 1 amazing phone. Features such as GPS and a 5 megapixel camera make this phone come out tops. What else grabbed my attention is the 3D graphics chip that is rumoured to be inside. The video clip below shows the 3D capabilities of the phone in the form of a built in game. The frame rate does look great. Check it out.

Features built in are GPS, Maps, wifi, DVD/MPEG4 quality 30fps video recording, 5 mega pixel camera, dual sliding phone, 3.5mm headphone output, TV output and more. The web browser has had a huge enhancement over the average mobile phone browser and boasts the ability to run several pages and switch between then just as you would on your PC.

Siemens Road Sign Reader

This new technology from Siemens looks interesting. It is designed for your car and has a camera built in which reads road signs, processes the image, displays the speed on your screen and tells you if you are over or under the spead limit for that particular road. It makes me wonder if it can detect the good old national speed limit signs here in the UK which can mean either 60 or 70 depending on what type of road you are on 🙂
