The USB Crystal Clip Cam looks rather interesting. Instead of having the regular type stand, this cam is mounted in a large clip that can attach to the top of a monitor. Due to the way it is mounted in the clip, it allows the camera to be rotated around to face or face away from you. The camera isnt too spectacular. It runs a 480K sensor capable of VGA resolutions of 640 x 480. The camera at that resolution can record at 15 frames per second, and if you half the resolution it will get up to 30 fps. One extra feature of the camera is the LED lights which allow the camera to be used in the dark.

GPS Rear View Mirror

Checking your rear view mirror when driving is what most of us do quite regularly. A company has come up with an idea which includes GPS information in the mirror for feeding back information to you such as speed traps, speed limits and accident black spots. This is idea as it takes advantage of your quick glance in the mirror to check behind. As well as showing details of those 3 items, it can also display speed and what direction you are heading. I am not sure if the GPS unit is used to just track the things mentioned here, or if it is programmable. Either way it looks like a cool optional extra for your car.
Concept SLIQ-phone

The concept SLIQ phone is very SLIQ. It has no keyboard, keypad and works with an improved sensory interface. The phone is just 10mm thick, has a nice LCD display and has a 2 megapixel camera built in. My personal opinion on this is that it does look cool. I am not fully convinced on the use of touch screens as interfaces though. They work ok on a Pocket PC as you use a stylus for them, but for a mobile phone I am not 100% convinced yet. I do hope the iPhone and SLIQ (If it becomes real) do change my mind.
007 Phone – Weird but Cool
The 007 Phone is a mixture of an old phone with new insides. It reminds me of one of those old Motorola brick phones from the 80s, but yet crammed with todays technology. The screen is quite large at about 4 – 5 inches although specs do not confirm this. The phone has a built in 2 megapixel camera, 3D surround with stereo speakers and has a lot of James Bond images and music built in. One more picture after the jump. [Read more…]
Casio Exilim EX-V7

The Exilim range of Casio digital cameras has indeed been an excellent range. I own one of this range my self and am very impressed with features and quality and especially the screen size. The EX-V7 is the latest Casio to hit the market and has some nice features such as a 7.2 megapixel sensor, CCD shift image stabilisation and 7x zoom. The technology in this camera that caught my eye was the motion analysis which can change the ISO and shutter speed if fast moving objects are being pictured.
Sony VAIO TZ Notebooks – Leaked Photos

Sony are launching some new 11.1 inch laptops named the Sony VAIO TZ. Two of these notebooks have been created which are the TZ11MN/N and TZ11XN/B. Both notebooks look great with one boasting a silver lid. Other differences are the amounts of memory, disk and processor. I have to say that both of these notebooks do look rather nice although I can imagine the price tag would be rather nice too 😉

Digio USB Flash Drive

Some great ideas for flash drives have been showing up over the last couple of years. We only just posted about the Pocket XP flash drive which allowed you to keep a backup of your OS should you need to do an urgent install when on the road. The Digio is another example of a great idea. This time the flash drive includes SD and MicroSD slots so you can transfer data to and from your SD cards via the flash drive. Its a simple idea which could be handy for those situations where you need to quickly backup data from your camera or mobile phone.
RC Spy Car with Night Vision

The Stealthy Watcher is an RC car with a night vision camera attached. Just put on the HUD (Heads Up Display) and take the remote control and drive away. The car is very quiet at running and transmits the video signal through the remote control to the HUD. It broadcasts in black and white and allows you to see in total darkness. With it being a small car you can take it most places such as under a table and chair and other various parts of the house.
Motorola ROKR E6 Reviewed
The video above is from PhoneDog as they have done a full review of the Motorola ROKR E6. It shows that its an iPhone which if notice it clearly is not, and its a Moto running an iPhone theme. The phone its self is not too bad but not the greatest. It runs a 2 megapixel camera, Linus Operating System, Real Player and a nice UI.
