Portable Photo Studio
The Portable Photo Studio allows you to capture more professional looking pictures that will be sharper and lit correctly. The photo studio measures 16 inches cubed and is lit externally by a couple of spot lights. The light-box allows you to place products inside and photograph them with correct lighting.
Pros use lightboxes to give their product shots a nice white background, diffusing lighting and reducing the harsh shadows that make your product shots amateurish and cheap. We’ve also included two super-bright halogen lights to further light the scene.
Palm Pre WebOS Homebrewed – Hello World!
A leaked WebOS root image was found last night on the web and thanks to this a few homebrewers have been hard at working breaking in to WebOS. The code which can be executed (thanks to the Sprint Nascar application) simply says “Hello World” on the screen which is a common message when homebrewing.
As well as fiddling with running new applications on the Pre the homebrewers also are trying to mess around with the image of the firmware by doing things such as disabling the shutter sound on the camera when the phone is in silent mode. [Read more…]

Grassy Lawn Charging Station
The Grassy Lawn Charging Station is a charging gadget that allows you to conceal all the power supply’s and cables inside the a compartment under the grass. You then snake the cables through the grass and plug them in to your phone and lay the phone, camera or whatever else is charging just resting nice and tidily on the grass.

Shuttle have released their new ultra-slim all-in-one PC this week. It is named the X Vision X50 and has a 15.6 inch LCD touchscreen built in. The screen can be worked with the included stylus pen. It comes with 1GB of DDR2 memory as well as an Intel Atom 330 Dual-core processor. Those specs allow it to run either Windows XP or Windows Vista. A 160GB SATAII HDD is included that provides plenty of storage space and a 4 in 1 memory card reader is also included allowing you to quickly transfer camera photos to your PC. [Read more…]
Samsung Pixon 12 Details Released
Samsung have announced their latest mobile phone named the Samsung Pixon 12. The Pixon 12’s main feature is it’s beast of a camera that can capture images at 12 megapixels. As well as having a large resolution camera built in, the phone also has a 3.1 inch AMOLED touchscreen and 150MB of internal memory which can be bumped up to 16GB via a MicroSD card.
Connectivity wise it has HSDPA, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and an internet GPS chip is also included. The 12 megapixel camera can capture vidoe’s at 30fps with a resolution of 720 x 480 pixels. [Read more…]
