If you ever use the standard calculator on Windows XP or on a Mac then these will look very familiar to you. The OS Calculators are a concept that were designed to look exactly like the calculator on your computer.
Each calculator is basic in that it has no scientific functions and can pretty much just do basic maths, but if you want something different on your desk then these would look good.
Unfortunately they are just concept and unless the designer can get permission from Apple or Microsoft then I doubt we will see them being created and sold anywhere. Check out a couple more renderings after the jump. [Read more…]
We recently revealed that Orange were to start selling the Apple [AAPL] iPhone on November 10 that would see O2’s exclusivity end on the high priced device. Up until now we had no idea what Orange would charge with some suggesting pricing would be kept about the same but with extra’s thrown in like better plans, cases and Bluetooth headsets. Official pricing has now been revealed that will see the iPhone 3GS being available for free on a 24 month contract at £45/month. Alternatively if you opt for an iPhone 3G 8GB model then you can have it for free at £30/month for 24 months.
If you are wanting to run Windows 7 on your Mac by using Boot Camp then you are almost in luck as Apple have officially said that Windows 7 will run by the end of this year.
The LG BL40 Chocolate mobile phone is unique due to it’s cinematic widescreen display that has an aspect ratio of 21:9 allowing it to play feature length movies with no borders top or bottom. With the BL40 having a large aspect ratio screen the phone is longer than your average mobile phone and though pictures seem to show the phone being a little over sized, when holding it you’ll find that it actually works very well and sits in your pocket very well.




Apple are launching their latest OS named Mac OS X Snow Leopard version 10.6. This is an update to Macs that run Leopard. It will start shipping on August 28th with the update costing $29 in the US and costing £25 in the UK.
