The latest UMPC coming from Korea is the Tango Wings. This UMPC has GPS built in as well as a full keyboard. A webcam is also included and it runs the latest OS from MS named Vista. I have no clue what its called Tango Wings, but do not let the name put you off. This UMPC actually looks quite nice from the picture abobe. It features a 6.5 inch WVGA screen and a 30GB hard disk which is just 1.8 inches in size. Network connectivity is provided by wireless running at 802.11 b/g standards or via a standard RJ45 ethernet port. When running Windows Vista you need to have a decent amount of RAM and the good news is that Tango Wings doesnt lack here either. It has 768MB built in.

Nintendo Gameboy XP PC

If you think back a good 15 years you will remember the Nintendo Gameboy hitting the shelves. Like me, you had to get your hands on this cool handheld gaming device. Before the Gameboy was launched I was used to game and watch LCD type games. Having the ability to play different games was something that amazed me. I seem to remember the gameboy cost 69.99 pounds with Tetris although ours was free as my sister won it in a packet of crisps.
Anyway, I came across this Gameboy today which has been hacked apart and fitted with a fully fledged PC inside its case. It has a VGA port, 2 USB ports and runs from a 4GB compact flash card which can boot in to Windows XP. No screen is included, but we assume that you use the USB ports for connecting a mouse and keyboard. More pictures after the jump.
Bubble Head Web Cameras

Webcameras tend to have a similar look and feel to them among their creators. The Bubble Head Webcams look quite cool though and are a nice change to the standard looking webcams we see in the shops each day. Unfortunatly they are just prototypes right now and not in production. Should they ever make it to production I am sure they will hit a nice niche in the market to sell in bucket loads as they are more colourful and very unique.
Creative Zen Stone

The Zen Stone from Creative is their latest offering to the MP3 market. The Zen Stone is a small 1GB flash player which is similar to the iPod Shuffle in size/design etc… The Zen Stone is available in several colours as well as the white version pictured above. As can be seen, there is no screen which means that any song is randomly selected allowing for a more varied listening experience. A lack of screen can be seen as a problem, but in the case of the Zen Stone I think it is just right for what Creative are trying to sell and the market they are targetting.
YouTube Camcorder – The Pure Digital Flip Video

A camcorder has been created to make uploading your home made videos to YouTube easier for the less net savvy people. The camera is a small white device which can fit in the palm of your hand and features a USB connector. The basic idea behind it is that you record a video, plug it in to your PC and the video is automatically uploaded to YouTube. 1 more picture and pricing after the jump.

Playstation 3 EyeToy

For those who have used a Sony EyeToy you will either love it or probably hate it. I happen to think they are cool and a great laugh on the multi player games as it ads a different dimension to games. The EyeToy is now coming to the Sony PS3 and the specs have also been boosted a little to match. The camera is USB 2.0 and can capture 120 frames per second at 320 x 240 and 60 FPS at 640 x 480. This isnt bad at all for the camera and should allow for some nice interactivity with games. As well as having a nice frame rate the camera also has digital zoom and also has the ability to capture images with either a 56 or 75 degree field of view.
One last feature that we know about is that it is supposed to work in lower light conditions which is handy to have as light can kill the eyetoys ability to capture movement if it’s way out. Unfortunatly no prices yet, but it should be out later on this year.

EPOS Digital Pen

I am not one for using pen and paper too much any more, but a mixture of pen, paper and an electronics does catch my attention. The EPOS is a pen which is capable of writing on any type of paper and it does not require anything special to work except a USB flash drive to clip on to the top of your notebook. Once connected you can start writing as normal, and the device at the top of the paper records every movement of the pen creating it digitally in its flash memory. Once you have finished writing you can then plug in the flash drive to your laptop or PC and view the text as handwriting. Once on the computer you have the option to use OCR on the text to change it in to editable text or keep it as it is.
Overall it appears to be a great little device which is ideal for those who like the simple use of pen and paper, but do not like the task of typing up notes in to the computer. With this, you get the best of both worlds. To add to the great little idea, the pen and USB drive should cost only $80 later on this year.
As soon as more details come I will be sure to post them hear.

The Jaty Leisure Navi-Phone is currently concept at the moment and will be named the GPS-L2000. It has GPS functionality built in which accomodates for Sea, Mountain and car as well as having a number of POI built in. The screen is 3.2 inch LCD which is touch screen. USB for fast transfer of files is included and a mini SD card slot to allow the memory to be increased.
As well as having some cool GPS features the phone also is capable of playing MP3 music, has an electronic dictionary and DMB TV which is an optional extra.
It actually looks like a really cool phone although it seems like it might only be coming available in Korea.

E Series Walkman from Sony

Sony has always impressed with sleek looks and the E Series of walkman from Sony doesnt fail to deliver these looks. For $200 you will get a 4GB model. The walkmans are flash based with a USB jack built in which allows you to connect it directo to your laptop. Sony suggest around 28 hours of playback can be made with the rechargeable battery. A feature of the other E Series walkmans was the 3 minutes of charge for 3 hours of playback. Hopefully this will be a nice feature of this version of the walkman.
