Yoostar is a kit that comprises of a USB webcam, a portable greenscreen and software that allows you to superimpose yourself in to big Hollywood movies.
In the set you get 14 classic scenes which are about 1 to 2 minutes long. What you do is install the software on your PC, dress up, switch the webcam on and record your parts. Once done, the parts are mixed together and you get to watch yourself in the big movies.
The creators of Yoostar have managed to secure rights for content from Paramount, Universal, MGM, Liongate and Warner Brothers. Update: At first we thought it was just 14 clips in total. However, Yoostar will be making available many many more at a price of $1 to $4. Also the creators are bringing in a social aspect to the software that allows you to upload your content and let others critique it.
Yoostar will cost $169 when launched next month in the US. Launches to other countries are on hold for now due to copyright reasons.
