A new walkman phone from Sony Ericsson has been announced by a Japanese carrier named KDDI. The phone named the Xmini is a slider phone that measures 44 x 75 x 18mm.
The Xmini features a touch sensitive control surface that music and touch can light up. The screen on the Xmini measures just 1.8 inches and is in a QVGA resolution of 240 x 320. The screen is LCD. On the storage side you will find 4GB internally which isn’t bad at all for this tiny phone.
When you slide the phone open it reveals a regular 0-9 keypad and 3 other buttons for making and ending calls. The phone works on CDMA and can use a video service so that TV can be streamed direct from KDDI’s LISMO service.
