Woongjin, a company I am not familiar with, have created an ultra-slim mobile phone which has GPS navigation built in to it. Not many details are available yet, but from what we have heard the phone is toughened, waterproof and perfect for those who love outdoor activities. It is built to survive a fall and vibrations which makes it an ideal phone for the outdoors type person. From the outside it looks like a fairly standard piece of kit, but what is noticeable is the screen which seems to be of a PDA size. Under the screen is a standard keypad with directional keys, menu keys and call, hangup buttons. For some reason, a 2D bar code scanner can also be attached although I am unsure what that is needed for.
For more details on how tough the phone is, it is rated IP65 which more details of that rating can be found here.
As soon as I get more details I will pass them on to you.
