WildCharge have launched a new gadget called the WildCharge PowerDisc. This particular version is capable of charging hundreds of gadgets without the need of plugging any of them in.
The PowerDisc is the device which works with the WildCharger Pad allowing devices such as mobile phones, GPS devices and various other electronic devices to be charged by simply sitting them on the mat.
The PowerDisc has seven interchangeable PowerLinks that make the unit compatible with most of the big brand phones which includes LG, Samsung, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, RIM, Palm and others. To get the PowerDisc to work you select the correct attachment and then attach the other end of it to your electronic device. As soon as the disc comes in to contact with the Pad the charging commences.
A good feature of the WildCharge is the ability to charge several devices at once. By doing this you are using just the one wall socket and yet, charging several devices which avoids the need of extensions and various cables. Also a licensing system is available for companies who want a branded product for clients to use. Uses for the branding system could be in hotels, library’s, airports etc…
The wireless charging system costs $19.99 for the discs and for a bundle which includes the pad and powerlinks it costs $64.99. Via: TFTS
