Yesterday we wrote about O2 loosing their iPhone exclusivity by Orange now being able to sell the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3G S. We hear today that Vodafone in the UK will also be selling the iPhone.
Vodafone, just like Orange, will now be able to bring the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3G S to the UK and Ireland. Vodafone will start selling the iPhone in early 2010 according to the statement released over on their site.
Just like Orange allow you to pre-register your interest, Vodafone are also allowing you to register your interest. If you are in the UK visit www.vodafone.co.uk/iphone while those in Ireland can visit www.vodafone.ie/iphone.
As of yet pricing for the iPhone is not known and contract/tariff details are also unavailable.
The news, just like yesterdays news is fantastic. I am all for getting more competition and especially for a phone that sells so well. Hopefully some decent tariffs and deals on the phone will become available now, although with Apple involved I doubt we will see the iPhone any cheaper than it is now. Via: Zath
