
Wireless charging is a cool technology. Not having to mess around finding the right cables makes it quick and easy to just drop your phone on a pad and let it be charged. However, the devices lack a little class. A designer named Sun Kyung Kim stepped in to design a concept visual charger. As can be seen on the image above the there is a visual indication of the status of the charged device. The rings are then next to a couple of birds which light up once the radiating rings are fully charged.

This is a neat idea, especially since it looks like you can charge more than one item at a time.
This would also make a great gift for the techie on your holiday shopping list!
It would be cool charging several devices at once. I wonder how it would show the status though. Maybe colours representing each device.
