viliv s10 blade 300x263 Viliv S10 Blade gets Multitouch, SSD and HSPAThe Viliv S10 is now available for preorder. The S10 is a convertible touchscreen netbook that comes in several different configurations with varying processors, RAM and storage solutions.

The basic Viliv S10 comes with Windows XP, a 60GB hard drive and runs an Intel Atom N530 processor. No multi-touch is listed on the basic model. Only the basic model is a Windows XP unit with the rest of the models running Windows 7. Also if you prefer an SSD over a HD then these are also optional in either 32Gb or 64GB capacities.

Several processors can be selected which starts at the low end on the basic model. This processor is an Intel 1.6GHz Z530 which moves up to a 2.0GHz Intel Atom Z550. Memory wise it has 1GB and this is fixed on all models. It isn't indicated if this can be upgraded, but the option currently isn't there to do this.

For connectivity the Viliv S10 Blade has wireless that can connect to 802.11 b/g networks along with Bluetooth 2.0+EDR. This is standard across the range. Optional HSPA can be selected on various models.

For physical connectivity there's two USB 2.0 ports along with a USB slave port allowing transfer of files too and from a computer. VGA and a TV-Out port is also included.

Battery life will see the Viliv S10 running for about 10 hours on a single charge using a 43Wh battery. Prices start at $699.99 for the basic model with all models being available from Dynamism.
