The PSP is a fairly versatile device that can do more then what was originally planned due to firmware updates. A new piece of software has been made available that allows you to use the PSP as a second monitor for your PC.
PSPDisp is the software needed to use your PSP as a second Windows monitor… but beware, it does require some homebrew knowledge which isn’t too complicated if you follow the instructions. Once the software is installed you attach it to your PC via a USB cable and then the second monitor should just show up in the display properties. You can then drag and drop any windows on to it such as music details or IM windows etc… Reports have also been sent in saying that it also works over Wifi too which is interesting. A shame the PSP is pretty dead, and this may be the only way to actually make use of it anymore. And even the usefulness of this is very debatable.
