USB HD Spy Pen Launched

A new spy pen has been introduced that is capable of capturing video at a resolution of 1,280 x 960 pixels at a frame rate of 30fps.

The pen is called the Super Slim Video Pen 2 and measures 14cm in length and weighs just 30g. As well as being able to capture HD video the pen can also capture images stored in JPEG format. The internal memory on the HD Spy Pen allows for up to 1.5 hours of video recording to be achieved.

The HD spy pen can take cards of up to 16GB in capacity with an 8GB card being good for about 6 hours of video storage.

To record video the user just needs to press a button on top of the pen. Once recording is complete files can be transferred by memory card to your PC or by connecting the pen via USB to your computer.

The pen is made by Thanko and is being sold currently for $65 although currently it is only available to those of you in Japan.

I had one, but returned it.
After a few minutes the recorded sound & video started to drift apart.
Quality was so poor that it was unusable…

But the 007 feel was definitely there!!!
