USB Hard Drive with touch screen PIN security
November 28, 2007

Data encryption is key these days with the amount of fraud that is around. When data is lost, bad things happen. To help protect your data a new USB hard drive enclosure has been created. It has a built in touch screen which features a pin security system to protect the data. When not in use or not needed, you just tap the screen and the “one-touch lock” activates. It measures 79.5 x 129.7 x 23 mm and runs on Win2K and higher as well as Mac OS 9.2 and higher. It is named the ezSECU ez850. Unfortunately it is not clear as to if this enclosure encrypts data or merely just password protects the drive when it is in the enclosure. I would hope to see encryption.
