Touch Sensitive Windows Shopping at Ralph Lauren

touch sensitive window shopping
Ralph Lauren in London have installed a 78 inch touchscreen window. The purpose of the window is to allow users to browse and purchase with out going in to the shop. Once a product is purchased you have the option of paying by phone or over email the next day and it will then be shipped out to you. I am not sure who exactly would use this though. It isnt as interesting as the Lexus 3D car that they had projected in to the middle of the showroom floor so passers by could rotate, change the colour and wheels etc… I guess it could attract those in the evening who are out and about after the store closes and want to purchase something on an impulse buy.

The touchscreen (touch window?) is for the Wimbledon Tennis competition about to hit London. It will be interesting to see how many sales and how much interest they get from this new display they set up.
