Tire Pressure Caps

tire pressure caps Tire Pressure CapsTire pressure is one thing that I suspect most of us don’t bother checking enough. The only time I tend to check pressure is when a tire is looking a bit mis-shaped. These tire pressure caps should help sort this problem out for all of us.

Insufficient pressure can lead to your car using more fuel then necessary and potentially not giving enough grip in needed situations. Also when the tire is inflated incorrectly it can lead to it wearing out quicker. These colour coded pressure caps attach to the valve of your tire. There are two versions available which show either 32 psi or 36 psi. Once attached these valve caps show you by the use of colour when your tire is the right pressure.

Although a good idea, it’s a shame they are restricted to 2 sizes as different tires require different pressures. Maybe a real gauge should have been added that can actually tell you how much pressure is in there by the way of an eInk number written on the cap.

Available from HarrietCarter they cost just $8 for 4 caps.
