The Sync Blocker is a device which allows you to choose the option of either synching and charging your iPhone, or just charging your iPhone.
A small switch can be found on the Sync Blocker docking connector which allows you to easily switch between sync/charge and just charge allowing you to simply just charge your iPhone if needed when you do not have the need to sync.
