Surface PC to Arrive at AT&T Apr 17
April 2, 2008
A version of the Microsoft Surface PC will be arriving at AT&T stores on the 17th April 2008. The Surface PC at the stores will allow customers to explore the phones on sale quicker as well as browse around interactive coverage maps to see what coverage and services are available where you use your phone the most.
Other features will see customers be able to drag and drop ring tones on to their mobile while in store.
Initially the Surface PC interfaces will be available at stores in New York City, Atlanta, San Antonio and San Francisco. If successful the service will roll out to the other 2200 stores across the US.
Microsoft’s Surface PC is built around a 30 inch table top screen which users can interact with. Bluetooth and wireless allow users to drop their cameras and phones on to the surface and drag and drop music, photos and video by dragging it from the camera on to the phone.
