Stress Reducing Mouse
January 31, 2008

Stress is fairly common around the work place with all the tight deadlines and what not. Hours of peoples lives are also spent in front of a computer working away and keeping in touch with the world. To fix this problem of stress a stress reducing mouse has been created which tracks your stress. It does this through a sensor where your thumb rests and when it notices your stress levels rise it will send remedies on how to get rid of the stress and control it before it becomes a problem. Information sent to you is about exercising and how to work best to reduce the levels.

I use a mouse nearly 10 hours a day, this is a good idea, and all work places should have them.

A good idea I guess but how would it work for Mac users I wonder?
Having just spent 2months getting used to the fact that if I squeeze my mouse the screen goes into a window free-for-all, I don’t think I’d want it added to the side of the mouse.
Would it work as a sensor on the palm, or would the pulse not be strong enough there?
Also, I’m not convinced alerts telling you you’re stressed are all that helpful if you are up against a deadline.. I’d like to know more about this one!
