This is sure to be a hit with the partners of those who snore. Gizmodo has named it the Snore Pillow. For the half the population this will ensure a better night sleep with the pillow gently vibrating the snoring perpetrator to silence the snoring. However for the other half of the population (those who snore) it may mean nights of broken sleep… depending on how heavy a sleeper you are.
The pillow is made of memory foam and has a built in sensor to detect the snoring. The sensitivity of the sensor is adjustable so you can get the ideal shake to not disturb you too much.
The pillow can also record your snoring to keep as evidence to those who point away the pointing finger. This sure does have a specification that indicates a new take on the prevention of snoring, however how effective it is, is yet to be seen.
The pillow costs $240 and will be released in September. A relatively small price to pay if it works.
