The Valve Steam PC online gaming service is now available for Mac users. The service in the past, that has only been available for PC owners, now brings access to 1,000 games for Apple Mac users.
When signing up, users get a free game called Portal that is a puzzle-based first person shooter game. This deal however, is for those who sign up before a week on Friday on May 28.
Some new games are expected soon for the service which includes the likes of Team Fortress 2, Counter Strike as well as several others. These games will also be available on the PC version of Steam.
For those using Steam for a PC and who also have a Mac, the service also allows you to download games you already have.
