The autonomous starfish bot looks incredible. It starts out flat on the floor and can learn to work and when damaged it will then limp. The algorithm that runs the robot can be adapted to more complex machinery. Plans are that the robot will sense injury and learn how to repair it's self and adapt to the environment around it.
