For those who do not want to go the whole way with sprucing up your home in to a fully fledged intrepid class spaceship then maybe you could settle for using just light switch covers instead.
These light switch covers are designed like computer consoles on Star trek the Next Generation (so Thinkgeek says). They are built in standard US sizes so I’d recommend not buying them for a UK home.
